Major General Ahmed Deif Saqr, governor of Gharbia, Dr. Pastor Andre Zaki, head of the Evangelical community in Egypt, and a number of political and executive figures inaugurated on Wednesday the Internal Department of Elderly Medicine, attached to the Evangelical Hospital in Tanta.
The Governor stressed the importance of the great role played by civil society in the medical field, especially the provision of service and medical care for elders.
He pointed out the importance of providing all forms of care for elders, providing as much psychological and social care as possible, as well as health care.
For his part, Dr. Andre Zaki said that the celebration of the inauguration of this medical edifice comes within the framework of celebrating the glorious October victories, which restored the dignity of the Egyptians.
He added that this medical edifice set up by the Evangelical Church, provides services to all, at the highest quality level, confirming that the church is an integral part of the Egyptian identity.
