HG Anba Abra’am celebrated at the Church of St. George in Fayoum HG Anba Abra’am return after 8 months retreat, the celebration was attended by HG Anba Ishak, General Bishop of Fayoum and priests Synod, HG Anba Agathon, Bishop of Magaghah and Adwa and HG Anba Sallib, Bishop of Mit Ghamr and Daqadous.
The ceremony concluded with a speech by HG Anba Abra’am, in which he expressed his thanks to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and to all the members of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church, Fathers, the Priests, Deacons, devotes and the congregation of the Diocese.
In the same context, Bishop of Fayoum received a large number of executive and leaders of Fayoum governorate as well as a number of Islamic clerics and representatives of the Christian denominations.
HG Anba Abra’am submitted a request to HH Pope Tawadros II in July of last year, asking him to allow him to take a retreat at the monastery of St. Bishoy in Wadi El Natroun, before he decided to end it and return to his Diocese on Friday.
