The Scottish Writer and Poet, “Robert Louis Stevenson” says, “An aim in life is the only fortune worth finding”. We mentions that to have an aim is to lead a valuable life. A goal is your scout that will lead you through the dark way and so its darkness will fade out due to goal he sets before his eyes and it’s the partner that supporter on life journey and the balance that helps us evaluate what is done and what is still to be done. A Goal varies from person to another, so choose what suits you person, ambition toward what you want to reach to and achieve. Then, work had and honestly to achieve it no matter how hard andrough the road is. Goals we try to make on the land of reality out of a hard will that guarantees we remain on the road are behind all great achievements.
Goals resemble mountains before which the traveler stands and decides whether to climb them or to retreat. Climbing to the summit is possible for everyone but to one will reach it without a hard will and a flammable desire o keep going till the end. We all heard about some examples that reached the summit with their great efforts. One of them is the writer, political activist, American lecturer, “Helen Keller”
But I would like to talk about her teacher “Anne Sullivan”,
that teacher has set a noble goal for the blind, deaf and dumb young girl, Helen to emerge from her darkness to a brightness that the eye may not see, but it fills her whole life. Helen did not respond easily to her teacher. After her 20-year-old teacher, was chosen to be Helen’s teacher, and she began a long relationship with her for forty nine years. Anne began teaching the spoiled girl in a new way of communication by writing letter in her hands and touching things with her hands.
Hence, Helen began to learn and understand what was around her. Anne struggled and continued with patience, faith and determination. Her patience was transferred to her pupil until she became “Helen” Keller”, the symbol of determination and insistence in the world. Achieving one’s life goal requires a deep and unshakeable faith. You must be a believer in what you strive for, be able to recognize it no matter how curvature is the road or how dense the shadows that may obscure your vision for some time, you must be ready to walk alone towards your goal at times; you must expect the coming of so-called “failure” remembering every time you pass through the experience of failing the words of those who walked the way before you: “Falling is not the problem; but ceasing to stand up again and keep going is the real one”
Remember those who have gathered the stones of failure to make them a ladder to success and climb up to what they seek. Let us all remember that the greater the goal and the greater it benefits others, the greater the achievements and the more to be dug in the memory of history .. There are those who decide to live for themselves, and there are those who seek to live for others, and the difference between them is very large. Always choose the goals that can be helpful to others. So, if you forget them one day, you will see it and shine at the eyes of everyone around you. Thus, I always recite my favorite saying: “What we do for ourselves, dies with us; but what we do for others will remain immortal.” In life and to life we are to sail…
