Future is a word that instills worry in people’s hearts. It carries an ambiguous dream that may turn to a nightmare or brings hope and happiness. In both cases, people always think about their role in building the future. It puts on our shoulders duties and responsibilities that we should hold to achieve our goals.
God grants man: abilities, capabilities, talents, money, health, intelligence and many gifts that guarantee a better future for us and our closed people. It is our duty to toil in our present time and do all what we can to make a better, safer future. “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”William Shakespeare. A bright future would be for those who seek it not waiting for an external strength to bring it for them. We should keep faith in God and ourselves, work honestly and trust that God will grant us success.
The Egyptian Economical Conference that was hold at Sharm El Sheikh under the title “Egypt Economic Development Conference” with the motto “Egypt the Future” is the biggest economical event that Egypt has ever witnessed. Delegates from more than 80 countries have attended the event. This event is a step toward a better future for Egypt’s economy that would lead to general stability. In the meantime, negativity prevails due to lack of assurance that springs from the economical instability.
We need to have a clear vision of what we want to achieve in the future lest we stumble in our present obstacles. We would not achieve any progress without it. It is the medium that would support us to organize our ideas, determine our destination and make a complete plan and a study of our future needs and how to suffice them through projects that can help our society to achieve progress.
For instance, Ministry of Agriculture, Agricultural Mechanization sector, has suggested many projects that involve fertilization of 4 million acres in addition to On-farm Irrigation Development Project that would need 5 thousand Center Pivot Irrigation Equipments; which can be a step toward establishing factories to produce these equipments in Africa and especially Egypt along with factories for producing pumps and pipes..etc not to mention spare bars. The Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy has also offered a frame work for many projects that included transportation, production, new and renewable energy for instance: construction of power plants and Electric lines for power transmission, and electrical substations.
These sorts of visions are examples of how we should plan for our future in order to satisfy our needs. However, we should know that dreams of the future are not just about planning; they need toiling and patience to overcome obstacles. A clear vision is and will always be connected with hard work; vision without working to achieve it would remain an imaginative dream. Thus, we should toil and exert all our efforts within a scientific framework, to achieve success, build the future and promote our country.
