We dealt in the previous article with the issue of team work that creates a variety of talents which in turn leads to greater success. We depicted the handicaps faced by the team which are inflexibility that may turn any disagreement to a dispute between the members of the team. Success may be a result of a personal vision of one’s goals and a work plan he follows honestly and evaluates from time to time. While success is easy when we work together, one of the secrets of success is to offer others a helping hand to achieve their personal success. They say that success is the outcome of helping others and it is the core principle that you should heed. When one helps others to make progress, he would be making progress in his own life journey too. Persistent people are those who choose to pass their bitter and sweat experiences to others. One of the wonderful sayings goes like “Remember that when you are supporting others, you will find others who would do that in return and while you are growing up you would have two arms; one to help yourself and another to help others.” To conclude the issue of Success; I would like to give hints about ambition. Ambition can be a reason of success if it leads to hardworking; of destruction if inspires man to climb mountains without knowing how. We mentioned many rules of success, but we should notice that they should be accompanied by high values and morals. Some may tend to achieve immediate success resorting to cheating or playing trick; however each task that man puts all his efforts in is a step to making him more mature person who demonstrates empathy for others. I recall a symbolic story relating that a man inquired God of the reason He allows for problems that seem to have no solution. Once he was praying; God told him that there is a huge rock at his doors he has to move every morning. The man obeyed God and he did that mission everyday yet the rock didn’t move at all. He felt so desperate and inquired about the reason it didn’t move. God told him that his role was to push the rock not to move it as moving it was the role of God who can surmount difficulties. However, look at yourself and you will find that you earned the virtue of patience and your ability to face problems has improved. Thus, pursuing success by working hard and exerting all possible efforts would develop your potentials. I conclude by a tip of advice to any success pursuer “Start small, think big. Don’t worry about too many things at once. Take a handful of simple things to begin with, and then progress to more complex ones. Think about not just tomorrow, but the future.”
