Atfih’s Prosecution continues investigations of the attack on St. Tadros Church in the village of Kom Al-Wasalin, Atfih, which took place after the Friday prayer, 22 December 2017, and resulted in the destruction of the church and the injury of three people.
The three injured were interrogated and accused nine attackers with physical assault.
Prosecutors are still questioning the suspects after their arrest on Friday, said Said Munir, the lawyer of Coptic assaulted. More than 28 suspects were arrested by the police and other suspects are being arrested.
The Copts’ defense provided an attachment of the photographs and footage of the attacks on the church and were included as part of the investigation record.
