His Grace Anba Ermia, General Bishop and President of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, participated on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the activities of the 28th Festival for Christian Family Development, titled “Leaning Walls,” organized by the Anba Bishoy Family at the St. Mark’s Cathedral in Azbakeya.
During his speech, His Grace spoke about the topic of the “Wall of Communication” within the family, emphasizing the importance of communication in the Christian family, which everyone takes pride in. He explained that the family is a divine entity and a sacred church, and it is the workshop where Christian virtues are experienced and practiced.
His Grace also pointed out that the family represents an essential means of creating a sense of belonging to the family, the Church, and the الوطن (nation). Through the family, generations remain connected and values and principles are passed down over time.
He further affirmed that the Christian home is an image and a sacred icon of the Church, as it carries spiritual and human meanings that reflect the essence of Christian life.
