Six bishops from the Coptic Orthodox Church participated in the 18th Dogma Conference organized by the Committee of Faith, Education and Legislation of the Holy Synod for the priests and servants of the upper Egypt in the Monastery of the Archangel Michael in Neqada, the Conference was held for three day under the theme of “Contemporary theological issues”.
Lectures were delivered by their Eminences Metropolitan Bishoy, Metropolitan of Damieeta and Kafr elSheikh, Bishop Moussa, Bishop of Youth and rapporteur of the Committee, Bishop Beyman, Bishop of Naqada, Qus and Abbot of Modif monastery, Metropolian Hedra, Metropoitan of Aswan, Bishop Yousab, General Bishop of Luxor, Bishop Joaquim, General Bishop of Isna and Arment as well as a number of priests and ministers.
The conference discussed some of the contemporary theological issues and responded to them, with open dialogues between the attendees, the Metropolitans and Bishops responded to the questions and queries raised.
The participants in the conference paid tribute to these meetings and thanked the Pope and the Holy Synod for convening this meeting.
