Rev. Daoud Nashed rapporteur of Samalout Minya Diocese denied the existence of a criminal suspicion in the fire of Samalout Diocese. He pointed out that due to the weather heat, a gas cylinders hose dilated, which led to its explosion, but the people in the church and the church’s servants managed to extinguish the fire caused by the explosion, without any casualties.
General Mamdouh Abdel Monsef, the Police director of the province, sent Fire trucks to the site of the blast, to ensure full control of the situation within the diocese.
