On Wednesday evening, July 25, 2018, a celebration of Sunday School Centenary was held at Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Hall. It began with a speech by Dr. Mustafa El Feki, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in which he spoke about the importance of the role of ecclesiastical education.
The ceremony was attended by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Dr. Mohammed Sultan, and Dr. Mostafa El Feki, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, as well as a number of church Pontiffs.
The Patriarchate of Alexandria celebrates on this day two special events: His Holiness inaugurated the Seminary Building and the Patriarchal Diwan and the centenary of the Sunday Schools held at the Grand Conference Hall of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
