The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, under the auspices of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, and his partner in Apostolic service His Grace Bishop Ermia [Jeremiah], General Bishop and President of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center held seminar on June 10, 2013 entitled“Institutional development of the Coptic Church in the context of the modern state from Muhammad Ali till now” Dr. Samir Morcos -Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Foundation for Citizenship and Dialogue. He talked about the transitional stages through which the Coptic Church passed since the time of Muhammad Ali as from 18th century to the present day.
