HH Pope Twaedros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of St. Mark, mourned HG Bishop Pham, Bishop of Tema in Sohag and member of the Holy Synod.
In a statement on Monday, Rev. Boulos Halim, spokesman of the Coptic Orthodox Church, quoted the Pope saying: “On the hope of the resurrection, we would like to bid farewell to this blessed bishop, His triple beatified, Bishop Pham, Bishop of Tema and affiliated areas.
He lived in monasticism more than forty years, most of it spent as Bishop of a new Diocese in Tema and affiliated areas … where he was a servant and an urbanizer … a worshiper and praiser, and also contemplated the great works of God.
He lived a lover of saints and praising with angels in an amazing and moving way in the hearts of all participants, and presented a high model in silent praising, and I often saw him standing in the monastery among the monks’ parents in gravity.
Christ comforts the entire Church and to all the congregation of Diocese, as well as to his blessed family, and all his loved ones and acquainted of his bounty.
