Six years have passed since Saints Church bombing, which targeted revelers on 2011 new year eve, dozens of people were injured and continue to suffer daily and are forced to be unemployed.
“You are not suitable to work.” This sentence is heard again and again by “Hani Wagih,” who is in his 20s and was injured in his foot at the explosion. Hani’s suffering does not end in the search for a job after the injury prevented him from being appointed in the Maritime Navigation department after finishing his studies at the Maritime Academy.
The suffering continues for the entire families, including the family of Iman, who was injured in the accident, and her two daughters were injured, and her husband was martyred. The woman complains of being affected by her ability to work because of her injury, but the most important is her failure to employ her eldest daughter after her graduation. They answer : “It means nothing that you are from Saints bombing”.
