Some may think that Church penalties are against love, yet in fact, it is for man’s good, repentance and refraining from deadly sins. “The Canonical Laws – Part 1” clarifies the notion of canonical trials and the reasons beyond with respect to the Clergymen and congregation, the book also introduces the properties and the certified sources of the canonical law, which are: the Two Testaments of the Holy Bible, the Father Apostles, the Laws of the Holy Ecumenical Councils, the Laws of the Regional or Local Councils, the Law of the recognized authorized fathers and the books of prayers and liturgics.

In this book, we review the history of authority in the Church: its origin and development throughout history, putting an answer to the question: Who is the Church judge? The Canonical Law between excess and waste. Then examples of canonical trials throughout history are stated.

We present this book, pleading to God in order to make it a reason of blessing and growth to all who read it, through the prayers of St. Virgin Mary, the Theotokos , St. Mark the Apostle and Martyr, the Preacher of Egyptian homes, and through the prayers of His Holiness Great Pope Tawadros II, the Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark.

          قد يعتقد البعض أن العقوبة الكنسية هي ضد المحبة ولكنها في واقع الأمر لخير الإنسان وتوبته وعدوله عن الخطأ الذي قد يؤدي إلى هلاكه. كتاب “القوانين الكنسية – الجزء الأول” يوضح فكرة المحاكمات الكنسية وأسبابها للإكليروس والشعب، كما يقدم الكتاب خصائص القانون الكنسي، ومراجع القانون الكنسي المعتمدة وهي: الكتاب المقدس بعهديه، والآباء الرسل، وقوانين المجامع المسكونية المقدسة، و قوانين المجامع الإقليمية أو المكانية، وقوانين الآباء المعترف بسلطانهم، كتب الصلوات والعبادة الليتورجية.

          في هذا الكتاب نستعرض تاريخ السلطان في الكنيسة: أصل هذا السلطان وتطوره على مر التاريخ، ونجيب عن التساؤل: من هو القاضي الكنسي؟ والقانون الكنسي بين الإفراط والتفريط. ثم قديم نماذج لمحاكمات كنسية عبر التاريخ.

          نقدم هذا الكتاب طالبين من الله أن يكون سبب بركة لكل من يقرأه بشفاعة السيدة العذراء مريم والدة الإله والقديس مار مرقس الرسول كاروز الديار المصرية، وبصلوات قداسة البابا المعظم الأنبا تواضروس الثاني بابا الإسكندرية وبطريرك الكرازة المرقسية.
