The Diocese of Assiut headed by HG Bishop Yoannes denies security encroachment on Copts of “Awlad Ibrahim village”
While police forces in Assiut is cooperating with the Diocese, We were surprised that some news websites are publishing information that the police assaulted Copts of “Awlad Ibrahim” village, which is completely untrue information, as Copts in the village did not experienced any attack of any kind.
The statement added that the archdiocese asks everyone for accuracy and honesty while publishing information, for the benefits and interests of the nation.
