His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and delegation greet Al-Azhar sheikh on the Lesser Bairam [Eid Al-Fitr]

His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark accompanied a church delegation at 11 a.m. sharp on Wednesday to visit the Al-Azhar Sheikhdom to offer greetings for the Lesser Bairam [Eid AlFitr] to the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and the men of the Noble Al-Azhar , and Dr. Mohammed Mokhtar Jomaa’, Minister of Religious Endowments, the delegation including :

2 – His Grace Bishop Yo’anness], General Bishop
3 – His Grace Bishop Marcus, of Shubra Al-Kheima
