Jordan receives HH Pope Tawadros II with a high-level delegation

At the outset of his pastoral visit to Jordan, HH Pope Tawadros II and his accompanying delegation have arrived to the Queen Alia airport in the capital Amman, where his holiness was greeted by a formal reception at the Royal Hall at the airport.
His Holiness was received by Jordanian officials including His Highness Prince Ghazi bin Hamad representative of His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein and Her ExcellencyLina Enab Jordanian Minister of Tourism, Abdel Razek Arabiyat director of the Tourism Promotion Authority, Khaled Abu Zeid and His Excellency Akl El-Beltagi Secretary of Greater Amman. and From the church side Bishop Anthonios Bishop of Jerusalem, along with the priests of St. George church in Amman.
The delegation accompanying His Holiness Pope consists of HG  Anba Alarion bishop of Ezbet Hagana, Almaza and Zahraa Nasr City churches, Bishop Anba Hermena of  Ain Shams and Mataria churches , Rev. Isaac Angelios and pastor Ammonius Adel secretaries if his holiness.
This is the first visit of the Pope to Jordan since his inauguration on the throne of St. Mark.
