Anba Ermia: With hearts full of trust and hope, we bid farewell to the martyrs of St. George church in Tanta and St. Mark church in Alexandria

HE Anba Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, paid tribute to the martyrs of the Palm Sunday bombings, which targeted the churches of St. George in Tanta and St. Mark in Alexandria.
His Eminence Anba Ermia, on his Facebook and Twitter pages, said on Monday:

“God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” (Revelation 21: 4) “With hearts full of confidence and hope, we bid farewell to the martyrs of St. George church in Tanta and St. Mark Church in Alexandria., asking God to send consolation to their families and loved ones.”

It is noteworthy that about 45 martyrs were killed after the bombings that targeted St. George church in Abu Naga, Tanta, and St. Mark Church Church in Alexandria,in addition to more than 100 injured.
