Giza Criminal Court decided to execute 4 men convicted of killing businessman Abdul Halim al-Naid, nun Ethnasia and attempt to kill another.
Prosecutors charged Farahat C., his brother Salem, Hassan D, and Mohammed G. with murder, attempted murder, possession of firearms and ammunition.
The prosecutor’s investigation resulted that defendants to lurked Abdul Halim Al-Naid, 62, was on the way back from Saudi Arabia from Umrah, on Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, on the afternoon of al-Fitr feast, he was in a car with his son Hamza at Kilo 40 point, the murderers fired a barrage of fire towards him, which led to his injury and the injury of his son.

The investigation revealed that the victim was on revenge disputes because of a dispute over a piece of land in the city of Wadi Natroun between “Bhaer” family, which the businessman belong to, and “Hassouna” family which the father of the first convicted belong to, brother of the first convicted was killed by a member of the family of the victim, so the convicted decided to take revenge from “Bhaer” by killing “Naid” the eldest of the family.
The security forces arrested the main suspect while he was hiding inside an apartment in Agouza area, while armed errands moved and arrested 2 other defendants in Assiut and Alexandria governorates. The defendants were found with two automatic rifles and a Hyundai Verna car used to carry out their crime. security forces are still searching for the fourth defendant.
