On Monday, July 29, 2024, His Grace Bishop Anba Ermia, General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, attended the opening of the Ninth International Conference of Dar Al-Ifta, titled “Fatwa and Moral Building in a Rapidly Changing World.” The conference, organized annually by the General Secretariat of the Assembly of Fatwa Authorities and Bodies Worldwide, took place at the Al Massa Hotel in Cairo on July 29-30, 2024.
Under the patronage of President Sisi, the event welcomed leading scholars, ministers, and muftis from over 104 countries. Bishop Anba Ermia also participated in the closing session of the conference on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
