Diocese of Minya confirmed that a rumor about a relationship between a Christian man and a Muslim woman caused the incident of stripping a 70 years old woman from her clothes and burning christians houses at Karma village , Center of Abo Qorkas, southern of Minya.
The archdiocese said in a statement on Wednesday: A Christian named Ashraf Abdo Attia subjected to threats which led him to leave the village, His parents filed a report at Abo Qorkas police station on Thursday, May 19, about the threats.
