“Portray Patriarchs in the Coptic Art”

Dr. Gawdat Gabra -Former director former of the Coptic Museum in Cairo and Editor in Chief of the St. Mark Foundation for Coptic history studies.

Dr. Gawdat Gabra talked about Patriarchs headquarters , starting from Alexandria and Suwail Era from the first to the fifth century and then to the monastery of glass and than Abu Makar monastery and from there to Acient Cairo came at the Fatimid era and Dr. Gawdat Gabra refers to the surfaces paint on like Murals, texture and Manuscripts and parchments and others. He added that the images saved are from the sixth century to the eighteenth century.
