On Tuesday evening, 26 November 2019, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II handed over a certificate of honor and appreciation from the Institute of Coptic Studies to His Grace Anba Ermia, General Bishop, Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center and a faculty member of the Institute, in recognition of his outstanding and effective contributions to the service of Coptic science and studies. The ceremony was held at the Anba Rewis Theater in the Cathedral and was attended by a large number of bishops, priests, teachers and alumni of the Institute. The faculty and graduates of the Institute were honored by His Holiness the Pope, as well.
