Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail, met on Tuesday a youth delegation from the General Coptic Episcopal of Eastern Canada, which is currently visiting Cairo, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Immigration and Egyptians abroad, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Northern America, and Canada’s ambassador in Cairo.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his happiness to meet a delegation representing the second generation of Egyptians abroad, stressing that the Egyptian government is keen to communicate with all of their children in every country in the world, and to achieve coherence between them and their siblings at home, as well as work to resolve their problems and to provide different services via the Egyptian embassies and consulates.
For their part, the members of the delegation thanked the Prime Minister for giving his time to meet them, and greeted and appreciated the political leadership for the efforts exerted in serving the country and its people abroad, and for seeking to confirm the correlation between the Egyptian generations abroad with their country of origin Egypt, and also praised the immigration minister for her activity and her eagerness to communicate with them, and thanked the Ministry of Tourism for cooperating in arranging this visit.
At the end of the meeting, members of the delegation expressed their desire to serve their native country and show the west the real image of Egypt, and to emphasis on what is being achieved, as well as to contribute in increasing investment opportunities in Egypt, and restore tourism traffic, and to work on transferring modern technological expertise to their native country.
