I said: The first trust in our lives is our trust in God, then comes our trust in good as associated with God the beneficent, doing good is a source of happiness for him who does it. While evil is inevitably perishable. But I wonder: why do not we pay attention to the good spreading among people?! Why do not we find words to express the good done among people?! Yes, still are there people who have not given up their humanity in life. He said: I believe you, I am afraid that I have lost my belief in the existence of humanity! I replied: I will not talk about so called “extraordinary” figures- like inventors, scientists or thinkers, as they are deemed exceptions, yet I will try to express some stances extracted from the lives of simple people whose names may be unknown to us, but their hearts are filled with kindness and humanity.
A friend of mine sent me a couple minute videos titled: “My trust in humanity restored”. It contains snapshots of some noble attitudes spontaneously made by people, only to help and delight others. In a match, player Yang Peru gifted one of his fans with a souvenir which made the latter extremely joyful. His friends tried to get this souvenir, but he refused, and immediately went to a disabled boy with incapability to move, and granted him this souvenir, preferring this boy to himself.
Another shot displaying a paraplegic child who wished to try wrestling, so another healthy child lied down beside the boy, taking his hands to put them on himself as if the paraplegic child held and had control over him, the referee counted and declared the unhealthy child a winner! The applause of the audience got higher to the child who wished to live like his peers. A third shot showed a female runner in a running race who was struck by a sudden cramp made her unable to move before approaching the finish line. However, her competitor hurried to support her until she finished the race and won! The video contained another number of stances. Wonderfully, most of them have been carried out by children and little boys. It is really great for man to learn in his early life to be humanitarian! How greatly pleased he gets when he offers to do good and delight others!
Another humanitarian story that took place in a hospital, where mother Stephanie was about to die after fighting for two years with cancer; she had only one wish: to see her son Dalton’s graduation day from High School. Doctors expected her to die weeks before the graduation day, thus, her son, with the help of his family, friends and school began to arrange an early celebration of his graduation inside the hospital so as to to fulfill his mother’s wish! The Educational Administration responded to Dalton’s request and the Chairman of Lauderdale Board of Education sent a representative to announce Dalton’s graduation from High School. And thus, the mother’s wish was fulfilled, and she died a week after the graduation celebration. Yes, we are desperately in need to restore trust in the existence of humanity within ourselves and within others, to care for it, and to help it grow and bear fruit in the path of life.
