The Coptic Orthodox Church began handing Christmas Mass invitations, which will be headed by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of St. Mark at the Nativity of Christ Church in the new administrative capital.
A Church source said that the Presidency and the concerned bodies pay high-level attention to the celebrations preparations. The source added that there is a trend that His Holiness will inaugurate the Holy Table (the altar) before Christmas, and will not use an altar from another church.
The source explained, who oversee the construction of the new cathedral in the administrative capital, will cover the unfinished parts of the church where prayers will be held.
The source pointed out that there are about 2000 printed invitations will be handed according to the national ID number for applicants who want to attend the celebration, and that there are buses will be dedicated to invitations holders to and from the church, and the 4 first rows in the church will be allocated to State officials and diplomatic personalities.
