Pope invites Prince El Hassan bin Talal to visit religions compound

HH Pope Tawadros II welcomed at the papal in St. Mark Cathedral in Abbassiya, on Wednesday evening, His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal and his accompanying delegation who are currently visiting Cairo.

During the meeting, HH Pope spoke about the Coptic monasteries and first monk St. Antony and His Holiness invited Prince El Hassan bin Talalto to visit the monasteries and religions complex, that show all the religions of the world so that everyone can co-exist together and work together for each other and the complex in now available on the Internet.

For his part, Prince referred to his visit yesterday morning to Sheikh Al Azhar, who promised to send a delegation from Al-Azhar to visit Jordan and inspect the refugees , and he addressed the Pope: We hope Your Holiness also send a delegation to Christians refugees from Iraq.
He added: will be held next January in Amman a meeting of religious leaders, as well as the participation of Christians to be focusing on the Iraq issue and how to get out of the current impasse.

The Pope visited Jordan early last month during which he met with Jordanian King Abdullah Bin Al Hussein in Hosseinieh Palace. His Holiness also met with a number of Jordanian officials .
