HH Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and the Patriarch of the see of St. Mark, assigns HG Bishop Bakhoum, Bishop of Sohag, Monshaa and Maghagha and the Archbishop and Archbishop, have been charged with overseeing the affairs of Tema Diocese and its congregations following the departure of Bishop Bishop Pham on Sunday evening.
Anba Pham was born Tobia Ishaq Kheir in 1945 in the town of Akhmim, Sohag. In 1967, he gained a degree in mining engineering from Assiut University. Preferring a life of monasticism, however, he took orders in 1967 under the name Mina al-Anba Bishoy. In 1979 he was ordained a priest, and in 1980 was consecrated Bishop of Tema and departed on Sunday, February 25 in a London hospital.
