I greet you for Easter and thank God for this tradition which happens from 60 years as we gather after Easter.
We thank HG Bishop Metaos and the monks of this monastery..
Resurrection is not just a doctrine that conclude fasting , but the Resurrection is a thought in the human mind and heart, it is not only an expression of faith, but the resurrection of human thought. There are people who their thinking is absent, the resurrection is a way of life, we are praising every day and say Arise, O Children of Light .. let us ask ourselves constantly about positive risen thinking , that looks to the future. Aspects of rise thought are: 1. Nothing is impossible: No impossible in the repentance of souls Not impossible, to establish projects No impossible in the human weaknesses I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me 2. There is no fear: Fear inherent in the human being since Adam Sin and sometimes fear become an “agoraphobia” illness, the resurrection gave you a mind without fear, the Risen Christ in your mind makes you fearless, the disciples at the crucifixion days were scared and worried, but when Jesus appeared to them after the resurrection bible say, disciples rejoiced as they saw the Lord .. joy expels fear. 3. No despair: Today is the tomorrow you worried about it yesterday, the thought of resurrection is a positive thought, there is a person who sees only the black point, but the thought of Resurrection limiting the size of negativity. We are in the fifteen days period, work on having resurrection thought and ask from risen Jesus to give you this thought, Jesus says in the Gospel of John ( I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly) I invite you to be a risen person and appreciates the resurrection of Christ. Mentioning that 33 Bishops and delegations from the monasteries of Wadi Natrun attended Easter gathering with HH Pope Tawadros II.
