Ahmed Khairy, spokesman for the Ministry of Education, said that three committees were urgently formed to investigate inciting sectarian strife in Mokattam school incident, pointing out that a lecture was held without permission from the Education Directorate in Cairo, hosting one of the dismissed teachers of Al-Azhar University and the Christians hate lecture was filmed.
He added during a phone interview at the evening program on DMC, which is presented by Iman al-Hussari, that one of religion teachers invited the dismissed teacher to deliver the lecture, stressing that the school in particular was subject to investigation, in addition to the investigation conducted by the Police.
Khairi pointed out that all those connected with the incident have been summoned and that the school may be placed under the financial and administrative supervision of education ministry.
