Al-Warraq police officers managed to arrest a man who attempted to slaughter Christian woman with a sharp object while walking in Abdel Moneim Riad Street.
The police arrested the so-called Mamdouh. R. T., 36, a resident of al-Warraq area in Giza, after he tried to slay Mary Jamil Mossaad after he brought her down and dragged her out of her hair, without knowing the circumstances and causes of the accident.
For his part, Attorney Mufid Thabet, lawyer of the lady wrote on his «Facebook» page, that the victim was nearly slaughtered by the accuser, and was transferred to the hospital.
The lawyer pointed out that so far we do not know the obvious reasons behind the crime, asking everyone not to rush to prejudge, until the completion of investigations.
The necessary police report was recorded and the Public Prosecution was informed of the investigations.
