In the previous article, we tackled the life path companions, whose hearts are filled with love, giving and sacrifice; they are enriching the life of whom they meet along the path. Along the path life, we encounter people who have wrong concepts, through which they lead their life and deal with others. Adopting such wrong concepts in the life path does cause suffering to you and to those around you. A lady recounts that her six year old boy made a mistake one day, she spoke to him, blamed him and counseling him not to repeat his deed, however the boy replied, “No, mom, I will do it again!”
Astonished at her child, the mother tried to speak gently to him: “this is wrong, son!” Yet, he obstinately answered: “and I will do it again; I did it and will do it!” The lady decided to have an opportunity to think and inquire about the proper attitude she would follow.
The mother seized an opportunity to speak to her boy, she asked him: “do you see what you did yesterday a right behavior?” He answered: “mom, I know that what I did was wrong!” “So, why do you insist on it since you know it is wrong?” And here came the shocking answer of the child: “I did that lest I would be of a weak personality! I will do whatever I want to do, even if it is wrong!”
The mother kept thinking about what she would do to correct the concepts that are mixed up in her child’s mind, as this would bear nothing but failure and pain. After few days, she intended to do something wrong before her child, who quickly corrected her mistake, she accepted his words and correction, then discussed with him that a strong personality does not require man to be insistent on his opinion, as a strong person is who realizes his mistake and correct it in courage and bravery.
Misconceptions are widely spread among the pursuers of life, until their life became a demonstration of wrong concepts, which steal their happiness and comfort, causing others to suffer. Some may see that life methods have been changes, ages have been replaced, and concepts have been modified, however, man keeps searching throughout his life for those who bear perfect high principles to trust them. Dear reader, remember that man’s strength lies in his ability to understand himself and his behaviors, and to correct the wrong parts in himself; hence, he will be able to change the entire world. It is said: “watch your thought for they are to turn to words, watch your words for they are to turn to deeds, watch your deeds for they are to turn to habits, watch your habits for they are to form your personality, and watch your personality for it will identify your fate”.
